I think I have a virus what should I do?

I think I have a virus what should I do?
If you suspect that you have a virus the first thing you should do is do a virus scan. Update the definitions for your anti virus client, if you have one and run a scan. If you do not have an anti virus client run the online virus scan provided by DSL Extreme located at https://www.dslextreme.com/Members/Options/OnlineVirus.aspx. If you do have a virus the online scan functions on the most currently updated definitions and by all means should find and correct the issue. If you still believe that you have a virus after running these scans it would be wise to either take action to have the virus removed. Important: Make sure you back up your computer before attempting to remove the virus. Removal of malware can cause loss of data so best to have a complete back up first.
