Generic Mail Settings for Email Programs  

This article outlines the settings needed to access your email. More specific configuration instructions for the more popular e-mail clients are provided Here. E-mail may also be accessed using a web browser at www.DSLExtreme.com/Webmail

IMAP Configuration Options (preferred)

Incoming Mail Server: mail.dslextreme.com
Incoming Mail Server port is 993.
Incoming Mail Server requires SSL.

Outgoing Mail Server: smtp.dslextreme.com
Outgoing Mail Server port is 465.
Outgoing Mail Server requires SSL.

The Outgoing Mail Server does require authentication. The E-mail address and associated password are the DSLExtreme username and password.

POP Configuration Options (not recommended)

Incoming Mail Server: mail.dslextreme.com
Incoming Mail Server port is 995.
Incoming Mail Server requires SSL.

Outgoing Mail Server: smtp.dslextreme.com
Outgoing Mail Server port is 465.
Outgoing Mail Server requires SSL.

The Outgoing Mail Server does require authentication. The E-mail address and associated password are the username and password
