New Miniatures Arrival

In December new miniature figurines are coming into the stores. They are Jiminy Cricket on the Eight Ball, Tinkerbell in a hat, Winnie the Pooh looking at mirror, Goldilocks set, and Cinderella's Wedding. Collectors like Jiminy and Tinkerbell the best. Cinderella's Wedding will make a great cake topper. Many dealers sold out of their allotment of Jiminy and Tinkerbell right away and have to reorder.

This December shipment completes all the pieces promised for this year except for Hansel and Gretel set. Hansel and Gretel will ship the week of December 18 and arrive in time for Christmas.

New pieces not in the brochure will start arriving in January. Dealers and sales representatives will get information and pictures for these new pieces in early January and will have opportunity to order.

Storytime on eBay

A few Storytime miniature figurines have appeared on eBay. The first dealer who posted the pieces had his right to sell the line swiftly discontinued. When a second set appeared on eBay, it prompted the Olszewski Studios to write a letter to all dealers. The letter talked strongly about Olszewski desire to prevent eBay dealers from destroying the line. The notice states that they would take swift action against any dealer that sells the new Olszewski miniatures on eBay.

For some dealers, selling on eBay has become a matter of habit. They have been selling other Disney products on eBay without repercussion. Other dealers have been discounting the line, so they wanted to sell the new pieces on eBay first to get their money. Olszewski Studios has put dealers on notice: There shall be no mishandling of Storytime Collection.
