Setting up ActiveSync on your Windows Mobile 5 device  

Check if your Exchange mailbox package has Active Sync enabled first.

1. Open up your web browswer and go to https://ems1.dslextreme.net

2. Login with your admin account admin@domain.com

3. Click on User Management and enter the Name or email address of the user you are checking and click Go. You can also view all users by clicking on All Users.

4. Once the user is displayed click on the name to expand the menu and choose Services

5. Expand Hosted Exchange 2007 and make sure one of the plans with the word 'Mobile' is selected. If it is not then please check the Mobile plan for the mailbox size and click Provision.



6. Wait for the status to turn green before proceeding to the next step.

7. Log out of your current session and close your web browser.

8. Open up your web browswer and go to https://ems1.dslextreme.net

9. Login with your admin account admin@domain.com

10. Click on Exchange -> Summary. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Configure my device. (Screenshot Below)


11. After you click on Configure, instructions specific to your account will be displayed.
