High Speed 50Mbps Fiber Access now Available From DSL Extreme

LOS ANGELES, CA, May 5, 2009 - DSL Extreme, a leading provider of high-speed Internet access and business communications services, announced today the availability of a new fiber Internet service for residential and business customers named Fiber Extreme. With fiber services, customers can now enjoy speeds that are 8x faster than traditional cable and DSL Internet. Customers will also benefit from fully utilizing bandwidth-intensive services such as streaming HD video.

Fiber Extreme is now available to 10.4 million households in 17 states. These states include CA, CT, DC, DE, FL, IN, MA, MD, NJ, NY, OR, PA, RI, SC, TX, VA, and WA. Customers can easily perform a qualification process by checking their street address at www.dslextreme.com/fiber.

Introductory residential pricing for Fiber Extreme is as follows:

$39.95/month for speeds Up To 10.0Mbps
$54.95/month for speeds Up To 20.0Mbps
$99.95/month for speeds Up To 50.0Mbps

"Having fiber Internet as part of our product offering gives people choice. We are happy to bring the fiber service to our subscribers," said George Mitsopoulos, Vice President and General Manager of DSL Extreme. "Customers have been requesting the ability to have faster speeds and they want to purchase all their Internet-related services from one reliable vendor and on one bill."

With Fiber Extreme, small businesses can bundle connectivity with the latest communications services for their employees - including messaging, calendaring, collaboration, document sharing, and video. As a Microsoft Gold certified partner and Blackberry Alliance member, DSL Extreme provides Microsoft Exchange hosted email and Outlook, SharePoint 3.0, and Blackberry support. DSL Extreme also offers Google Apps Premier for always-on communication and collaboration services.

"Small businesses in today's marketplace gain a large advantage by using enterprise class communications tools that are easy to use and not hosted in-house," says George Naspo, CEO of IKANO Communications, the parent company of DSL Extreme. "Why should companies have to worry about servers, mobile delivery, and hosting applications that are not central to their core business? DSL Extreme allows customers to focus on their business with Internet tools running over the fastest residential Internet speeds available in the US."
